Often known as Ginger Root, ginger is a tropical plant native to Asia and has been used in traditional remedies since ancient times. Our ginger is made from premium roots, grown in the warm and wet climate of Vietnam cooked with natural fruit sugar and simply dried without any additional ingredient to achieve an amazingly balanced sweet yet satisfyingly spicy chunks of ginger.
Unlike most dried gingers found in supermarkets, our dried gingers are made without any sugar coating and are not crystallised, which makes them a great alternative to crystallized gingers and a healthy snack.
Thanks to its distinctive taste, ginger can be used in a wide variety of food including sweet and savoury foods. As a very popular ingredient for baking, a good quality dried ginger brings up the flavour and adds an instantly recognisable aroma to your cake or desserts.
